“Holiday 2020” is the perfect season to really up your ‘flower game” at your home. Many of us are spending more time at home this season, it’s the perfect time to spread joy to your family and elevate your environment with holiday floral elements. I’ve taken four trend concepts, and matched them with images of floral displays by my some of my favorite florists that (I feel) embody these concepts.
Classic Red & Green: This color palette has unlimited possibilities and options to create elegance and luxury. Think beyond traditional holly...nature has provided us with so many flowers and plants in reds and greens.
Wintergreen: One of my favorite holiday installations to do is all greenery, or mostly greenery with a few bits of color from flowers or fruits. Mixing traditional holiday foliages add textural interest and a festive fragrance.
Pinks: Eye-catching and modern, pink hues for the holidays are a welcome twist on traditional holiday reds. The paler the pink, the higher the sophistication!
All one color I’m a big fan of floral arrangements (holiday or not) in all one flower and all the same color. This look gives you a bold impact with less waste. Flowerbx from London is a fabulous example of this look.
