I just love Texas in the Spring when the flowering trees start to bloom, and decided to do a styled wedding shoot using these budding branches and one of my favorite flower colors - yellow! I was thrilled when Sarah Lindholm Photography agreed to share her artistry for this recent photo shoot.

I just love the way these wedding flowers turned out...yellow and white with touches of one of my all-time favorite colors - - sage green! Can you imagine a more radiant pallete to inspire joy?

The thing about Spring flowering branches - their life in Nature is not long, at least here in Dallas, Texas. If you live in an area without access to flowering branches, do what I did...go faux! When these photos were taken, I did not have access to real flowering Forsythia and Cherry Blossom branches. It is almost impossible to tell from these images, but I used high-quality 'real-touch' faux branches. I will put some Amazon affiliate links below for some similar items, if you would like to recreate this look.
